Jan Van Bass-10 rozpoczął swoją muzyczną karierę już w wieku dwóch lat. Od namłodszych lat jest związany z muzyką, kiedy to dostał pierwszą perkusję. Mając dziesięć lat, miał miejsce jego pierwszy występ z jednym z jego wielu zespołów. Dziewięć lat później, było jasne, że Jan Van Bass-10 ma wspaniałe wyczucie rytmu w tworzeniu melodii. "Feel It Now", wyprodukowany z kolegą Sir Henry pod nazwą projektu "Sunics" królował na listach przebojów. Jan Van Bass-10 również remixował utwory wykonawców, np. Roland Kenzo, Dj Fausto, Jan Wayne, DJ Gollum, Palmas 'N' Raven, 4 Elements, Barcera i wiele innych. Pod aliasem "D-Tune" wydał swój debiutancki singiel "Burn It Up", którym odniósł sukces w całej Europie. Jan jest także producentem przebojowej "24 Hours" dla Kian Keen. Jego "Beautiful Life" i "Behind Blue Eyes" były kolejnym wielkim jego sukcesem, które pojawiły się na wielu składankach muzycznych. Gra w różnych klubach, np. Brickmakers, Arena Night, Weede, Bambu Neustadt / Holstein, Tunnel / Hamburg, Funworld Stralsund, Passion Club / Hamburg, Kiel Rave Place.
